Here's a fun one for you guys...

I'm from Ann Arbor, MI (born and raised) and have some inherent problems with Columbus despite the fact that I've never visited that city (it's never been in my vacation plans). Obviously, my vote will be for Ann Arbor--Wolverine town. I want to know what you guys think. It really doesn't matter if you've visited both cities or if you've only been to one or the other. From the things that I've read and heard about Columbus, I don't think I'd like it. Honestly, I can't see myself living anywhere in the state of Ohio (I've visited and been through it lots of times in my life), especially not in Columbus. A job could offer me $100,000 in Columbus, and I would turn them down.

So, you've never visited Columbus, but you're already proclaiming Ann Arbor as better? This sounds like a veiled Ohio State v. Michigan thread.

Columbus easily ... a much larger and cosmopolitan city that offers so many more amenities than Ann Arbor.

Columbus is one of the ONLY midwest cities than continues to prosper, experiencing continued vitality, growth and opportunities. It's also a beautiful and extremely clean city.
The Ohio State University TOPS Michigan too, a purely subjective opinion.

I went to OSU, so naturally I'm going to have to say Columbus, but I hear great things about Ann Arbor and I don't hate Michigan like many Ohioans do.

If you can find anything specific (criteria) for comparison between the two cities in your statement other than how much you like one area and not another, let us know. But a "this vs that" thread needs some specifics for comparison to be here - please see the room stickies for posting guidelines at the top of the page. Thank you.
