the tunnel system above in chicago looks really overstated...
unless you are referring to something else by tunnel?
this is more of what I would consider tunnels...
There used to be old utility tunnels that would occasionally flood. I don't think those are open to the public. Your list does seem a lot more accurate.
The Chicago tunnels in the 1st post are no longer accessible to the public and are partially dismantled. (Chicago Tunnel Company - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia) They were built originally as supply tunnels to carry freight and mail. They eventually became obsolete and abandoned except as passages for fiber optic cables. The great Chicago flood of 1992 was due to a break in one of the tunnels under the Chicago river.
Oklahoma City has a nice tunnel system as well as a few sky bridges connecting buildings. By using a combination of the tunnels and sky bridges you can get pretty much all across downtown.
