Interesting data - some volatility but good to see overall mostly stability in a sense given the economic conditions
DC is strong but how much is on the Federal tax payers dime...

So what is more relevant, personal income, wealth, gmp, or gdp for a metro - seems as though the first three more reflect the income/dollars generated/available by/to the region versus the corporate headquarters, but am curious on any thoughts or perspectives

I would say personal income is a one of the more relevant measurements. If the cost of living is higher then the GMP is higher, so it's hard to get a fair comparison of wealth in cities. probably just per capita stats.
