I went with Stamford. Big mall, nice area, and close to the city.

I also went with Stamford. Cool little skyline and close to NYC.

In ranking order

Stamford: nice contemporary edge city, attractive suburban neighborhoods that fit the quintesential CT suburbia that many would have in their minds (adjacent Greenwich and Darien included) and great access to NYC

New Haven: Great pizza, nice architecture, Yale campus, interesting neighborhoods, not too far from NYC

Hartford: Boring, although the CT state house is beautiful.

Bridgeport: to be fair I never got off I-95 to explore it, with that said and it's reputation I never felt compelled to get off I-95 to see it, not a pretty sight.

Only when it's CA or TX cities does it matter, right? Because they've had their own threads on here. Let CT have it's moment on here.
