These are states that have some striking and surprising similarities. They both have one major metro (MSP / Las Vegas), one auxiliary city (Duluth / Reno), and a bunch of empty space. They also have a wide variety of climates: Minnesota varying from Great Plains prairie to boreal forest, and Nevada varying from desert to forested mountains. Which state do you prefer? Choose based on:
Nevada Hands down! Not even close. Nevada is the 3-4 largest gold producition countrys in the world!! It has great alfalfa farms along with beef and corn. Mining is going through the roof. Plus it has the best college football town out of either state....Nevada Wolf Pack

Nevada is far more progressive. what does Minnesota have that Nevada doesn't have? not much. Minnesota has farming, Nevada has farming. Minnesota has an abundance of water, but Nevada has wide open spaces to camp fish rockhound to enjoy. And Nevada by its self is the 3-4 largest gold producing country in the world. Minnesota not so much
Nevada has better college teams in sports and Waaaaaay more entertainment. Plus face it Nevada is a destination, Minnesota...just a hub
