LOL? NYC's people live more miserable lives than the people in a lot of those cities! In NYC half of the people struggle to pay their rent and to live paycheck to paycheck... that's not happening in too many places around the world! (developed countries... but even in the developing countries)
This isnt true because the jobs in nyc are pretty good if you ask me. I'm living great and i'm not even rich. The only people who are suffering in nyc are the natives leaving in areas going through gentrification. Not half of the new yorkers
Hey Milkdrinker - why are all you fellow yanks so jealous of NYC? You all should be proud you have such an amazing world class city in your country. NYC is on a level your second tier cities like LA Chicago and SF could only pray to be. Sorry, folks, if you dis NY, you dis your country.
This is kind of true because my professor told me that when 9/11 happened it effected the whole country.
I don't know if the quality of life is worst than in NYC... IMO it's better! Most people in NYC live in poverty... don't forget that... and the poverty in NYC is as bad as in the 3rd world countries!
This is when nyc bashing gets bad. When people lie about cities they never been to or barely know. The fact of the matter is most people in nyc are not living in poverty. smh
New York. I don't want to cut down London, but New York is superior in my opinion in every way. Also, I don't want to live in a place where people look down on me. English people think they are better than American people, even though I disagree.
I'm pretty sure those stats were for the metro area--in which case, yes, NYC has a metro that is about the same population as the entire state of New York.
oh ok the nyc "metro area" has that kind of output LMAO what a joke
the entire state doesnt produce that gdp. stop it.
if the metro area which includes cities/regions of what, 2 other states produces that output.. how exactly is that something worth bragging about when you're comparing 1 city to another city. new york city is 1 city in 1 state. use the data of that city to brag about "largest economies" not the combination of 3 states worth of cities
whoever posted that data about GDP rankings emphasized the "just one city" vs the world and put the "and its metro area" as something of an after thought, as if the metro area is just a complement to what nyc alone generates in output
new york city's gdp is closer to 500 billion probably. oycrumbler over here excited because i skimmed over that dude's posts, getting off calling people slow lol "hey danny sorry bro"
