Given the types of amoral people I see in many comedy, horror, sci-fi and drama movies, I think I'll pass on that.

Then there's the plain, boring and or ugly design in all the things one sees on a daily basis, not exciting at all!

The list goes on. But there is truth in what you just said.

Texas is such a backwards state and I hate the politics.

I guess that in Texas politics, the person with the best connections comes out on top. And it's no surprise that the movie "Idiocracy" was filmed in and took place there.

#1 Louisiana: I like to stand on land without getting my feet wet
#2 New Jersey: Trapped between Philly and NYC...with the Sopranos
#3 Florida: They've got bugs that eat through concrete
#4 Indianohio: If they merged, no one would notice
#5 Arkansas: Little Rock, little else

To be fair, it's not the most backwards state in US. Just about every other former Confederate state is worse by a long shot.

I think it took place there because the director was from Texas. Just like two of his other shows Office Space and King of the Hill.

Arkansas or Mississippi were my two choices. Rural isn't really my thing, there's no big cities here at all, and they are very conservative. = Nightmare
