Yes but truth be told, murder and crime are an issue in Philadelphia, moreso than most places, while much is isolated this and the phily school system situation are problems that need to be addressed

I do realize that those are real issues for the city, I just can't get over the Los Angeles news group going out of their way to cover local crime in Philadelphia. You would think they would have enough news to talk about with a metropolitan area of over 12 million.

Local news reports about news in their communities but again on occassion they wiil bring you a story about a happening or happenings in other cities especially if video of something like a gun battle is available.

i guess LA is not as bad as Philly cuz they just shootin cops in LA... Deputy Injured, Suspect Killed In Compton Shooting « CBS Los Angeles
o and i guess drive by's dont count Fatal South Los Angeles drive-by shooting suspects sought | abc7.com
and finally, machete wielders smashing police cars is not that bad either VIDEO: Machete-wielding vandal shot dead outside Los Angeles police station * - NY Daily News

this is all within a day or two so its very puzzling why the LA media chooses to cover philly when clearly they got enuff interesting material of their own

There are awful neighborhods in Philly and perfectly fine ones, I chose to live in a perfectly fine one with no issues
Random bystanders get hit in Philly all the time...and 'choosing to live in a perfectly fine neighborhood' is not always a complete escape either, things happen in them too albeit less of it.

Of course there are always exceptions to the rules but you do understand what he was trying to say right?

Los Angeles is one of the safest major cities in the country. You still get your random freak shootings: Hollywood Shooting On Vine Street: 'Kill Me' Shouted Gunman (VIDEO)

But gang-on-gang shootings with innocent bystander victims are pretty rare.
