I'm of the belief that quality Chinese food only exists in 2 cities: NYC and SF.

Then you're delusional. It's not like the fresh ingredients grown in and around NYC or SF contribute to the amazing Chinese food found there. You simply need to expand your horizons for quality Chinese food in Chicago.

Try Han Dynasty in Philly then and am pretty sure good chinese is available in LA too

Here's an interesting fact about the closest they ever came within 'city' population before Brooklyn was annexed.

1890 US Census city population

1. New York, NY................ 1,515,301
2. Chicago, IL................... 1,099,850

Metro yes but not the city of New York because Brooklyn wasn't annexed in 1890. This comes from the actual US Census site with the official count already on record. > http://www.census.gov/population/www...0027/tab12.txt
