Weird. That Pittsburgh ZIP code is an office building downtown.

Yea, you can't necessarily go by a list such as this. Pensacola, FL has a zip on this list, which must mean it is in a part of town that has maybe 100 people total because Pensacola, as cool of a place as it is, is not very wealthy, especially to have people earning on average half a mil a year. 90210 isn't even on the list. I know the zips in my hometown all have around 30,000+ people, and salaries can range from $0 retired or poor to 7 figures straight from dividends or cap gains and no salary all in the same zip.

Many people make their income from dividends or capital gains and not from salaries, anyway. The tax returns are different. I'm sure trusts and funds that are tied up aren't considered, either. There are some truly wealthy zips (Palm Beach, Beverly Hills/Holmby Hills, Buckhead, Hyde Park, La Jolla, Bryn Mawr, Lake Forest, Brookline, etc etc) missing from this list.

Lots of Midtown address...lots of wealthy people live in Midtown. #2 is a Park Avenue 60s address.

They're not missing..they just didn't make the top 50. They're rich but apparently they're not New York, NY or New Canaan, CT rich.

Beverly Hills is so overrated anyway. It's nowhere near the richest place in CA. Also, most people who live in BH 90210 are not rich ...too many people. But there are truly rich communities in Beverly Hills like Beverly Park..a gated community where homes start from $5M+.
