I have a co worker from Boston who swears he's mad hood, and he dislikes Wiz Khalifa because he believe Wiz is fake and rapping about the hood when pittsburgh has no hood. I find it funny, Because i really could care less, but what do you all think?
I've never been to pittsburgh, so i have no idea, But i've been to Boston and it does have hood areas (nothing like NY,NJ,Philly or B-more).
they're actually kinda comparable in this regard. these two cities have recorded moderate crime rates in recent years (both being slightly above the national average. nonetheless, they are both 'tough' cities in many respects. i wouldn't classify either as being particularly 'hood' or 'dangerous'; i think 'tough' would be a better word for it--and they're probably equally 'tough'.
There have been variations of this theme that include all cities. Please add to those existing threads before creating another one. Thank you.
