Haha yeah, not even an airport. The Feds forced Fort Worth to do this. Fort Worth's original airport is where American Airlines' HQ is today (Greater Southwest International Airport on the map you posted last page). Fort Worth wanted to expand that one. The Feds basically said no, you and Dallas will share a new airport and they stopped supporting FW's. Love Field was doing fine though.
Joe Pool Lake is not even on the map. I love that place.
There is no main city in North Texas. There are two main cities, with a bunch of other cities that like to act like they're important, when they are really just overgrown suburbs.
No, that was Fort Worth's original airport, before it was closed down by the Feds once DFW Airport was built. It's where American Airlines' HQ is now. DFW Airport would be just north of the Carpenter Freeway on that map.
Edit: That was a ninja edit there Htownlove. I swear when I first quoted you, your post said that the Greater Southwest Airport was DFW Airport and you were telling Ladarron it was in between Euless and Irving.
you were dreaming .

DFW does have monster burbs though. Arlington? Irving? man what metro would not want burbs like that?
my point is not how big they are. I am saying that they are nice burbs. Dallas's influence in the region is diminishing.
Dallas is gonna be just another part of a really powerful area in the next 50 years. mark my words.
Look out for the rise of FW, Arlington, Plano, Irving.

lol, tell me what characteristic of land area in terms of hindrances does this one show that mine doesn't? lol are you just trying to show how spread out the cities are?? that is not my intention. I was just pointing out that miami FLL are confined while DFW is not, lol, but all you are concerned about is showing how big it is
