Last time I checked, LA isn't exactly a perfect urban metropolis, either.

I was just saying that to show that the Reunion tower helps, I'm sure Dallas is not just all boxes. I haven't been there but just from looking at pictures it really looks like that. Not a bad thing, just means that the tower thingy stands outs. But my opinion is obviously wrong

Trust me, there's only one box.

Dude, I see the skyline on a regular basis. The other buildings are not boxes.

Do you see a box?

The left side of the skyline looks like the Emerald City, The Reunion Tower must represent the Lollipop Guild. It does look very out of place though, so I voted yes.

it can't be more out of place than the Pyramid in Memphis, Tennessee.

I'm not just picking on Dallas... I think the similar incarnation in Shanghai looks just as ugly.

Looks like something you'd find at an adult boutique.

I LOVE the Dallas skyline, esp. at night. I've always like Reunion tower, I just wish it was taller. The green neon (BofA??) is still one of my favorite buildings in the US.

Ugly... no?

Tacky... you could say.

70's.... YES.

Look, it's a different era building. And out of all the 70's buildings I've seen, I'd say that the Reunion is the best. That doesn't say much, but hey, it's still better than a box.

And I couldn't imagine Dallas WITHOUT it.
