Minneapolis and St. Paul. Both get more attention than deserved.

I'd like a combination of New York and Chicago because both have a lot of density and are more similar to each other. That would be one awesome ultracity. I was at first thinking San Fransico, but I thought Chicago was more urban in some respects. However, if I was allowed I would have combined New York, Chicago, and San Fransico to make an ultra megacity since I think many of San Fransico's social and economic policies are good compared to New York's or Chicago's, but I appreciate having a dense urban core that Chicago and New York has.

That city would be incomparable. Bar-none number 1.

I have always wondered what a combined Dallas (-Fort Worth) and Houston would look like. I think it already exists: Chicago(land).

I wonder what Philadelphia would look now if government and finance stayed. What would a combined DC and NYC look like in Center City and how would the sprawl change? What place names would become famous? Where would institutions be located in the city?

Other cities I would combine:

Paris and Chicago (Chicago's skyscrapers mixed with Eiffel Tower, Notre Dame, and Arc de Triomphe, and place it by a lakefront)

Seattle and London (London's structures, squares, and "The Tube" system with Seattle's scenery. They already have similar climates)

Atlanta and Tokyo (Tokyo's safety, mass transit system, entertainment, Japanese culture and good sushi with Atlanta's Southern culture and barbeque/Southern cuisine, lower COL, and abundance of trees. They already have similar climates and large airports that are Delta hubs. Also, add Mt. Fuji to the view of Stone Mountain, and add Tokyo Tower and Tokyo Sky Tree to the skyline.)

Seoul and Miami (Keep Miami's climate, replace Incheon with Miami Beach, combine Han River with Briscane Bay, and offer a mix of Korean and Cuban cuisine. They already both have similar architecture. Also, add Namsan Mountain with N Seoul Tower near the Everglades to compliment the skyline)

NYC and LA (New York's skyline, culture, and mass transit system with LA's climate, beaches, palm trees, and mountainous background. You can also add the two rivers and have them flow into the Pacific.)
