As I was doing some search on Google maps, I've noticed a couple of cities/metros with loops or as some call them beltways. Just a quick and easy poll, on which you think is more interesting. Please post pics.

In Houston, Beltway 8 is a Loop but they call it Beltway because of the emphasis that a lot of segments on it is a toll road too. Otherwise standardized name would be "Loop" like 610, Inner Downtown, Semi-Loop 6, & The New SH-99 Loop (Grand Parkway).
Beltway, which the D.C. region has mastered, even though traffic can be a pain in the ass
And what the H were they thinking with the 270 split, dreadful, honestly DC traffic always seemed the worst in the country to me, and the Beltway is the core of this pain!

Thats because most highways don't go through D.C., one one goes through D.C. from one side to the other and thats east of the river. Its funny how I-95 ends on the northern tip of the beltway and folks gotta drive all the way around to the other side to continue their trip north or south, unless they of course take the B-W parkway and SE-SW freeway.
I think the reason why I-270 and I-95 didn't reach D.C. is because of too much NIMBY-ism at the time and eminent domain wouldn't work because there was too much money in those suburbs.

Yep or 50 basically ending on NY Ave - or 395 just basically ending - DC roads are a PITA - good thing the metro is good
Not saying its truly interesting, but an okay drive.
