SA doesn't have suburbs

lol, people like to call cities like Seguin, and New Braunfils suburbs of SA. Those areas are not suburbs. those are small towns miles away from SA separated by miles and miles of open land.

there is nothing around SA.

lol, okay, they may have areas like Converse, and land locked municipalities, but on the whole SA metro is just SA with nothing around it for miles.

I wouldn't want to live in SA, because of that.

I didn't like living there. I found it rather bland. The diversity there is awful.

I read somewhere that in terms of population SA ranks 7th, in terms of black population they rank about 45.

1.4 million city and 800,000 suburbs. The randolph Metrocom has 345,000 people. San Antonio has lots of small suburbs.

yeah it is only 6% black. in a city of 1.4M that amounts to about 75K black people

It dont matter what is called what, if it's San Antonio city suburban or independent city suburbs it all looks alike. What matters is urbanized area.
