Btw, I heard they was tearing down Barry Farms. Is that still happening or it already did??? I would gladly love to push the button. I don't live in DC, but damn....that place is too much.
I'm not gonna even lie, but its a few okay looking apartment complexes in PG that I wouldn't go to by myself........
My little cousins live in Clinton, MD and they're always talking that non-sense. So I invited them to come home with me on a Saturday afternoon and I took them to the Badlands of North Philadelphia. I was even kind of enough to give them the day time tour. They don't talk that non-sense anymore.

I've been to Philly, I know how it be up there.
But in a place like Glassmanor or Eastover in Oxon Hill, the mentality is the same, but PG isn't all that.
Some parts of DC on the other hand is still just as bad as any hood in Philly or NYC.
But see the thing is, D.C. is not a gritty city. It used to be in the 80's and 90's.
You can be in Ward 8 and see some housing stock that appears nice but in reality two people just killed on the corner last night......

I don't really think so. I think the really bad parts of Baltimore are about as bad as many of the bad parts of Philly, though. The biggest difference between DC and Philly is that we have a whole lot of white people living in abject poverty. And they look like they haven't smiled in a long while. I would much rather live in Barry Farms or Sursum Corda than the rat-infested trashy barrios of North Philly any day.

I would too, DC is a much less trashy city.
Its cleaner than most cities in America.
But it has the most effed mentality.
No other city brags about negative things like DC does.
