Why they are so famous in TV shows compared to Chinese/Vietnamese/filipinos/Cuban or Mexicans ??? It's pretty interesting !

Yeah, I'm not getting where the OP is coming from.
Excluding the cast of Outsourced, there are probably only a handful of Indians on American TV. While their visibility in TV shows has improved greatly in the last decade or so along with all other non-Whites, American TV pretty much goes this way in terms of the types of ethnicities you see on shows:
White Americans
{big gap}
African Americans (boosted by networks such as BET and TV One)
Latin Americans (boosted by networks such as Univision and Telemundo)
{big gap}
Every other ethnicity...and usually a quota of one per show. If you are lucky.
Don't get me started on how mixed race individuals hardly get any play on TV.
