Click on this link: link removed - this is city-data, not that site.

Find your city in the list and click on it, then click on the "under construction" tab. If there's not much going on in your city at the moment, click the "proposed" tab. Share your numbers!

At this very moment, zero.

There are, however, some interesting plans. One plan ("One Grandview") needs to be financed, while another plan for a mid-rise was just announced last week, and probably needs both tenants and financing at this stage. There also appears to be a third plan forming because many buildings in a pretty large block downtown have been bought, with more still expected. The footprint of all the buildings that have been bought so far has created speculation that another decent-sized skyscraper could soon appear in Pittsburgh's skyline.

Hmm just started construction on the colman tower . Then theres two new ones under construction recently started in belltown one 26 stories. And one on 1st ave apartments in downtown. The cranes are going back up in downtown Seattle its a pretty sight to see. I hope we get ten or more under construction again like days of old lol. Maybe in a year or so this year has been good so far to Seattle.

By the way, we'll consider a "highrise" to be a building with 10 or more floors.

Do hospitals/hotels count as highrises? They're not listed on that site, but in Columbus there's a 17 story, $1.1 billion dollar medical center being built on the OSU campus, a 15 story hotel being built downtown, and they are finishing up the new $800 million addition to the children's hospital downtown as well. A lot of low-rise condos and apartments are going in, but most of them are below the 10 story mark.

The site does not seem to list all highrise buildings, anyway. I know of at least a few built within the last few years that should be on there but aren't.

My suburb of Oakville has The Shores in the Bronte Village community at 10 stories. Other than that, there are I think 10 proposals for buildings 10 stories and up, though not all of them are approved and some might not start construction for a while.

As for Toronto like there are 134 under construction and another on hold above 10 stories according to ssp. There might be a few missing though, I'm not sure.

If the criteria is 10 floors, then there are a ton of projects going on right now in D.C. We just made it in...lol Anyway, there are crane's all over the city with double digit projects underway finally. The crane's had left for a year or so but they are mostly back now everywhere.
