Back in the 90s, Toronto had more of a Dancehall vibes. I don't know if you were familiar with mix tapes from back in the days, but Road Warrior made some wicked mixtaoes. He was a white dude from Toronto.

What sound systems are from Miami? Don't say Black Chiney because they emerged well into the early 2000s.

As far as Dancehall, that is a different discussion. This forum is strict, so I don't want to derail the thread.
I agree about TO being Mawd during the 90's on the dancehall tip, I was actually living there during that time. I know Road Warrior, but as far as I know he is originally from Montreal but did a stint in Toronto and NYC as well. Either way, him CD did mawd.

Check out Supa Sound, Progressive Flex and Innocent Sound to name a few, but nuff Sound play in S. FLA on the regular. To touch on Boston as well if you are interested check out GANGSTA MACHINE, serious sound based in Boston and Kingston.

ahh sir, only NYC has more in the World, not only North america and the US.

No. That list is highly incomplete outside North America. Cities like Sao Paulo, Hong Kong, and Seoul have far more highrises than NY. Sao Paulo especially.
