Depends, I've had an excellent time in both cities for opposite reasons. Overall though, I'm gonna go with NYC.

That truly wasn't the case when it was compared to Orlando. All I heard was "DC, no question
and "Is this really a comparison?" Be proud of your city and compare, I know many people that would say DC over NYC. Yes those people are interns in DC and are trying to fit into as many social circles as possible for political gain, but it's possible to see why people would prefer it to NY. Perhaps even price?
