They're both established suburbs of around the same size. Whats so absurd about it?

Lol I didn't even know there was a Pasadena in TX

Btw, Pasadena CA is no a suburb of LA, it is a city in it's own right
before there was a Hollywood or Beverly Hills
Pasadena was the home of much of the elite in So Cal

Alot of suburbs are also thier own cities, but it's still is identified with LA.

While not suburban in developement it is still a suburb of NYC. Some people define suburbs as a form of developement while others like myself define it as being outside the limits of the core city, but still within the urban developement and expanse of the infrastructure.
