Someone did a Buckhead vs. Arlington thread a little while ago and I don't think the two match up all that well, but it seems that perhaps Sandy Springs and Silver Spring do. So, who wins the matchup based on qualities such as growth, economy/corporate base, education, culture, shopping, transit, skyline, etc.?

This is a very bad comparison. Silver Spring is very urban and densely built like a major downtown. Sandy Spring is not. The links below show how different they are.

Whatsup with all these DC vs Atl threads, the two don't compare. DC is way ahead for now.

Locally known as The king and queen towers, Concourse Corporate Center V and VI are tallest building in any US suburb.

Sandy Springs has some lovely residential neighborhoods, but its' Achilles Heel is its' CBD that runs up Roswell Road. There was very little attention to proper zoning from the get-go; these days, it's mostly a collection of tired looking shopping centers and apartment complexes. I find Silver Springs' CBD to be far more attractive.

Sandy Springs because Sandy Springs has better transportation (3 Marta stops) and Silver Springs only has 1 stop
