I saw the midwest fight thread and realized that chicago blew the other cities away. so I decided to make a thread with the same midwest cities, which seemed close in the polls. here are som statistics that will help you decide your favorite city of the 5. Population city and metro: Detroit 880,000 and 5.8 million. Indianapolis 730,000 and 1.2 million. Cleveland 430,000 and 2.25 million. St. Louis 330,000 and 2.8 million. Milwaukee 590,000 and 1.5 million.
Heres why I picked Cleveland.Im a hometown boy so I had to pick it.But I like the diversity,the architecture,the downtown,the shopping.I like to take rides when Im there to,and see everything,the Eastside and Westside.I like the lake and beaches too.
St. Louis hands down. The Central West End, Midtown, Downtown, Downtown Clayton, the Galleria, all the great shopping opportunities it offers, its restaurants, all its tourist attractions, the Metrolink, St. Charles, Alton, etc, its landscape, its architecture. I actually am fond of St. Louis' downtown. I think it is every bit the downtown that Cleveland is.
These cities are close in this poll,it really shows how popular Chicago is,because in the other poll it got 30 votes,and none of these cities even got 10.

Yea...where are the Twin Cities? And Cincinnati isn't on this list either, nor are Kansas City and Columbus....you've left out a good chunk of the Midwest...Chicago I can understand since it obviously trumps all other Midwestern cities, but the rest I'm not so sure.

No they are not. Cincinnati (2.104 million metro area), Kansas City (1.967), Columbus (1.725), and the Twin Cities (3.175) are all similar in population to those other cities listed in the poll.
