Hey! I live in Iowa and I am going back to college to get a 2nd bachelors, my top choice is the U of Kansas, and the backup plan is West Virginia. I was wondering which college town is more attractive in your opinion? I am only 3 hours from Lawrence, so moving there would be much easier but I have also considered Morgantown. Any help is appreciated!

I would say Lawrence for me personally. They get tons of great concerts and have that perfect college town feel.

Morgantown would be perfect if you enjoy the outdoors though. Tons of things to do in the mountains. And Morgantown has a freaking awesome transit system.

Again though for my style Lawrence takes this one.

Curious if others have anything else to say. Two interesting metros to compare.

Morgantown. Awesome college town in a beautiful setting. Only 90 minutes to Pittsburgh and less than day drive to most of the major east coast cities.

Go to morganstown if you want a trip to mountains and major cities. They also have a good transit system there. Pittsburgh, Baltimore,d.c and philly are within less then a 4 hour drive.

Lawrence I have heard has a better college nightlife and more liberal environment though. Plus KU is a better school
