Yes, there are thing unique to Houston. Problem is no one knows them. There's people who don't even know how big Houston is.

Nothing unique about New York, Los Angeles, or Chicago? Okay, y'all are really pushing it now.

Every major city is unique...except Dallas.

Alright the OP asked if Houston is unique and somebody posts a pic of a guy riding a bike with a giant flower on it. Come on now for real. Texas cities are probably the least unique in the country. That's why Austin adopted the slogan "Keep it weird." As mentioned before Houston is home to NASA but NASA is closing up shop left and right these days because of liberals.

Tell me...why is it that this isn't in the Houston Fourm?

I haven't ever been to Texas. And you can't be serious about bashing Tampa are you? Tampa is always overlooked and rarely outdone. There is PLENTY going on in this city.

Sorry - but you're not comparing Houston to OTHER cities in particular, just asking if there are things to do that you can't do "elsewhere", which is far too vague. You can reword/repost this in the Houston room, or come up with a specific list of other cities you wish to compare it to (after doing a room search to see if it's been covered before).
