You revived a two year old thread for that?

And it doesn't have anything to do with finance haha

Greenville is a pretty blah place. Cute little downtown, but not really anywhere near being a significant metro. I mean, it's a satellite city of Charlotte basically haha. Not a bad place, but just nothing to write home about.

Greenville is growing at 1.68%. That's not even in the top 10.

There's more to growth than population. And actually, it's 3.6% for population. Greenville is growing fast. Anyone who has even been here knows that.

"Greenville has gained notoriety in various national publications like CNN Money, listing Greenville as one of the "Top 10 Fastest Growing Cities in the U.S." Bloomberg named Greenville the 3rd Strongest Job Market, 2010; and Forbes named Greenville the 13th Best City for Young Professionals. Additionally, the state of South Carolina has been ranked within the top 10 fastest growing states and economies by the U.S. Commerce Department."

You live in Sao Paul, and you are trying to tell me Greenville is a "pretty blah place", somewhere you've probably never been and if you have, you somehow missed all the construction going around here! And for being an insignificant metro, it sure does export more than most metros.

1. It's São Paulo, not São Paul.

2. What makes you think São Paulo is a "blah" place?

3. I went to Clemson and I know Greenville well. The majority of the construction is your typical Sunbelt junk going up around I-85/I-185/I-385. As I said before, it's got a cool little downtown, but overall it's really nothing special.

Greenville exports more than most metros because of the Goodyear and BMW manufacturing centers. A majority of the economies of US metros have moved away from manufacturing, so yea, it exports more than most other metros.

Regardless, it's a place no one needs to bother and visit.

Um, you say you know about Greenville, yet you don't even know that the BMW plant is in Spartanburg county and Spartanburg county isn't part of the Greenville-Anderson-Mauldin MSA.
And I know it's Sao Paulo, it was a typo. And I didn't say it was a "blah" place.
