Over the head like whooooosh....

Local news coverage is just about the same anywhere. The attractiveness level of broadcasters in different regions/cities is the biggest difference. lol

I wasn't talking about you being a homer, I was talking about Ghengis, since as you pointed out a scientist that does weather is called a meteorologist and there are many stations called eyewittness news, which he seems to be denying.

The KARE 11 Action-Force Rapid Response Team/Traffic Reports recently bought a new helicopter that had a somewhat tragic debut this week and was grounded until they figure out "what the heck do all these buttons do?"

Sorry. I soon realized you were talking to him. But it was too late to change my message because you already responded.

Yeah, I don't really get why SO MANY people get WGN. It's like nationwide almost. I remember sitting out west in Seattle I think flipping around and there's the damn 9pm news on WGN from Chicago.

I was wondering - do people down south or west or 1,500 miles away ever just watch that 9pm Chicago news on WGN just for the hell of it? I'll admit, I"m a huge local news junkie when I go on vacations or visit friends. I always like to watch the local news if the timing works out just to see how everyone else lives and what goes on in their lives.

My parents said they actually watch the WGN news often if there's nothing else on, but that's just cause I live here and they're curious what's up in my "neck of the woods".

They do love Skilling, he cracks them up. The guy LOOOVES his weather.
