Another day..... another list. The 2011 Milken Institute Best-Performing Cities Index ranks U.S. metropolitan areas by how well they are creating and sustaining jobs and economic growth.

A few of the larger metros:
San Antonio is #1
Houston is #16
DC is # 17
Dallas is # 20
Seattle is #27
Pittsburgh is # 37
Philadelphia is # 49
San Francisco is # 52
Boston is # 53
NYC is # 75
L.A. is # 135
Miami is # 141

since there was a ban on skyline threads, I vote for a ban of "List" threads. Bring back the skyline threads.

I thought San Jose was #1.
nm I see it was the biggest gaining large metro... tech in 2011 was alllll over the news. Not that it usually isn't anyway, but 2011 was a big year.
