good point, how is DC & SF more significant that Miami,Philly,New Orleans,Boston, Vegas..etc..

People around the world instantly recognize the White House, Capitol Building, Golden Gate Bridge (and also the Washington Monument and Transamerica Pyramid to a lesser extent). Probably even more so than the Willis Tower.

BTW, Seattle should be mentioned for the Space Needle.

I agree. The first time I saw that picture was on CD. I have been to SF about 5 times and never noticed that building. SF looks better when you don't look up anyway. Everytime they say that transamerica name I am like "where?....oh that building in F?"
