Ok so what cities make most sense for the next installment of this game?

Is there a reason why they haven't had one in Canada yet? I think they are just as good as any Midwest or Northeast cities. The Alberta cities would be prime candidates to host one.

Well, Alberta has the Heritage Classic with Canadian-only teams, not sure why the two events can't be integrated. I think the next two should be held in the Skydome in Toronto and Comerica Park in Detroit.

Minneapolis has two great outdoor sites: Target Field and TCF Bank Stadium

Not holding the Winter Classic in "The State of Hockey" is unnatural!

If Tiger stadium was still standing, I would say there.

Michigan Stadium would be a good venue. It's the third largest stadium via capacity in the world. (List of stadiums by capacity - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia) It's already hosted a game before between Michigan-Michigan State.

Bettman hates Hockeytown, USA though.

Why not the Cleveland Indians stadium - the same place they are having the OSU/U-M outdoor hockey game?

That storm last winter was ridiculous. I could have played hockey on my street but I didn't bring my skates down from Minneapolis.
