I agree. Atlanta is not tier 2 without midtown.

Lower/Midtown Manhattan is in a league of its own, nothing compares.

Tier 1 Manhattan-God Level Tier

——————Huge Gap——————————

Tier 2 Chicago/SF/LA/DC-Country’s Elite Tier

Tier 3 Seattle/Boston/Philly/Miami/Houston-Country’s Regional Power Tier
This is what I stated in an earlier post, but the greater post response was deleted.

Midtown + Lower Manhattan is league of it's own.

Then the debate of Chicago, SF, Bos, DC, Philly, Seattle begins.

I think it’s quite obvious its

Chicago

Boston/DC/SF/Philly in no particular order m

Seattle/LA

I don’t think it’s particularly useful to seperate those 4 because they are functionally indistinguishable

I don't think so. Center City, Philadelphia is still a top 5 downtown without the inclusion of University City, and even if Atlanta included Midtown it would still pale in comparison to Philadelphia.

Balitmore's downtown area is not an equal to Philadelphia, that was also a poor combination of cities.

I didnt mean that any of the cities would replace each other in the ranking, I just meant that they would move up from their respective rankings. In no way does BMore or Atl have a downtown on par with Philly. Plus I also forgot that university city is directly to the west.

I'm on the page of:

NYC
Chicago
DC/SF/Boston/Philly

What downtowns would be Tier 2? Just curious. The tier 2s in the list I responded to had Dallas, Miami and Houston...
