If you are combining Baltimore in the DC CSA, it's hard to push the Bay ahead of it. They are neck and neck obviously. Then, it comes down to which ones you like more than others.

I love how Houston posters on here are always sour because nobody ever thinks of Houston...ever but somehow feel Philly posters are responsible for this? I also will NEVER stop loving how San Francisco posters always have to combine "the bay" to be considered a real city and compete. You guys

A real city doesnt let a suburb be the shopping mecca of the entire metro area.

Just saying.

Most people in Howard County identify with D.C. now in 2010 anyway so if it is switched, it will make more sense. Anne Arundel County had a 7,000 person difference between Baltimore proper and D.C. proper. A huge wide card here is the increase in jobs in D.C. proper and the loss of jobs in Baltimore city proper due to 20%+ office vacancy rate in 2010. Office vacancy was non-existent in D.C. proper in 2010. We will see, but in the last 10 years, the region has made a complete 360 degree shift. It is a very real possibility.
More people in Howard county with DC than Baltimore? I don't know about that.

They do. It is most times subtle, some times it is not, but it is there.
