This! I love DC during the Spring, Fall, and the Summer (At least June and early to mid September), but outside of holidays, winter in DC and the DC area in general can feel kinda boring...

Washington DC has the most beautiful springs I've ever seen outta all the places I've lived. It really was something when in late March, as the big ugly gray piles of snow started melting, you'd see the grass become lush and green, the little purple flowers, the buds everywhere. A month later and BAM! Magnolias, Dogwoods and most beautiful of all, Sakuras, are blooming everywhere, like a pink fire has erupted in the tree canopy. Little cute oak and maple leaves coming out! Thunderstorms. Nicer weather. I love the springtime in Washington DC.
