Orlando doesn't deserve to be in a class with the 5 I already mentioned. Those 5 are any world travelers usual first 5 places of destination within our country
^^^ Actually ... Orlando IS the most visited place by international visitors to this country, sad enough.
I'm aware of that but as I stated that Orlando doesn't DESERVE to be anywhere those other 5
I mean really THEME PARKS?! What other WORLD CLASS qualities does that city have? Orlando is in the league of places like Charlotte, Raleigh, Memphis, New Orleans, Denver, Portland, San Antonio, Sacramento, etc etc.
PS/ a lot of those medium size cities I listed are still all superior to Orlando
Actually, it isn't. Being listed as a top tourist destination and being a metro that has a lot of things to do are two totally different things. Orlando is a top tourist destination for mainly two reasons: theme parks and conventions. But it doesn't come anywhere close to offering the variety of things to do as metros like NYC, Chicago, LA, SF, etc.
1. LA
2. SF/NYC tie (NYC has a better club scene and nightlife in that sense; SF has more outdoorsy activities in close proximity as well as better food)
4. Chicago
5. Las Vegas
