Hello, I've been trying to compare these two cities and hopefully receive some helpful pointers from people. I currently am a native from Florida, Tampa FL, to be exact. Recently I have had an urge for some change. I am a 26yr old gay man, looking for a city that is liberal, trendy, fun, inexpensive and obviously has a great gay community<---(very important)

Although being a FL native, I don't mind snow, so weather isn't a big factor. Really I just want to know what city, as a young gay man, I would have more fun, not only bars and clubs, but restaurants, out door activities, (biking, kayaking, etc)

or if anyone would know which would be better comparable (besides weather) Tampa, FL to Denver, CO or Tampa, FL to Austin, TX

I want to experience a new city, help me out!

Both are great in that respect as both have pretty sizable gay communities (like most big cities). I can only imagine Austin might be an easier adjustment coming from Tampa though I'm not sure what else your looking for in a city as both Austin and Denver meet your criteria listed. Denver might be a bit moe expensive. Would you rather live at the edge of the Rockies or in Texas hill country? Austin has lakes to swim in, Denver has more rugged mountain related outdoor activties. Both cities have great parks.

Austin is very gay friendly. You won't find many large cities out there that aren't gay friendly.
