Smartest thing mayor villaregosa did for la was build a half dozen world class skateparks. Some of which are located in the hood.
There are literally thousands of poor kids at these parks everyday vs doing god knows what on the street.
It is 2014 and more kids skateboard than kids who play little league baseball.
Chicago has to give their kids more things to do.
Yeah, I recall seeing rap music videos that were shot in South Central LA in the last 5yrs or so that were filmed in Skate Parks. I remember thinking "skateboarding has taken off in the hood". But then again, Cali invented skateboard culture. Cali also invented modern day Extreme Sports culture.

They don't play around at all, there's many gangs here probly around over 600 but most of them are smaller ones but there are many big ones from both folk nation and people nation.
Folk nation, from biggest or more violent to smallest or less violent off the top of my head. (Though ALL are very violent)

There's just too many gangs to name from both nations!
But keep in mind, don't always give the murder capital credit to chicago, chicago is a huge city and has over 2 million people and the city stretches many many miles, I've been to other major cities, like Atlanta GA, Houston texas, n a few others n damn let me tell you them motha****as don't play around either. I've seen more hood *****s in Houston and more dangerous hoods than some in chicago. Every city has their crime and gangs, I honestly think houston is worse than chicago and l.a. And I'm only saying that cuz the murder rate there is crazy for that size of a city

Essentially, this thread is a bragging contest about the ignorance and self hate that is prevalent amongst young Black and Mexican men in Chicago and Los Angeles. Nobody is bragging. I'm from chicago and in my first post I even said that houston n a a couple other cities are more dangerous. If I was saying chicago is then yea that's bragging. Nobody's bragging, I was correcting other ppl cuz most of them look like they don't know what they are talking about so I had to put the truth out there, or at least a little bit to let them know how **** really is
