Alright, I was recently accepted at 2 colleges. One is in SF and the other is Philly.
As a New Yorker, I'm sure most of us prefer Philly but not sure why. Which one has betyer college life, thibgs to do, nightlife, more boring and cost of living?
Well if this a serious post and assuming the schools are at least comparable in stature. I say experience the west coast as you are coming from the East coast. Life is an adventure and getting new and different experiences is always a great thing
Both cities would offer a ton for a college student and to me get out and live on the west coast, you may or may not decide to stay.

I echo Kidphilly's sentiments exactly. If this is serious, and not a way to sway us into discussing Philly vs. SF which (was a sneaky but good way if that is the motive) the answer lies within you. Philly is right next door to your crib. Are you a homebody? Do you need to be around your comfort zone? Or, are you ready to spread your wings and fly? Me, I left home and went 8 hours away to college. If the opportunity would existed, I would've went farther. The catch tho, as an adult, that was the closest that I've lived from home. Now, SF is a different animal. Yes, there is a slower pace than NY. And quite frankly, it's a different pace than Philly. But, for the west coast, it is the Pace setter out there. So, you can't compare it to the east coast. It's an East Coast-like city on the west coast.
