In keeping with the recent tradition of just how ridiculous so many of these city comparison threads have become here on the General U.S. forum of City-Data, I've decided to mix things up a bit by adding my own twist. If you could live in Scranton, PA (pop. 72,500 within a metro of 551,000) or Hell (pop. 30,000,000,000+ within a metro of infinity), where would you live, and why?

SCRANTON:
"The Office"
Joe Biden
Hillary Clinton
U.S. Sen. Bob Casey
Steamtown National Historic Site
Coal Mine Tour
One of Forbes "Ten Fastest-Dying Cities"
Nation's Fourth-Hottest Housing Market, According to Money
Second-Best City in Which to Raise a Family in PA
Two Hours from NYC or Philadelphia

HELL:
Home to Fascinating Celebrities, Corporate Executives, Politicians
Consistently Warm Weather
Spicy Cuisine
Regular Hot Stone Massages
Year-Round Sauna Available
Natural Hot Springs
Subterranean Atmosphere

This might not be as clear-cut of a choice as one might have first assumed.

Having been to Scranton many times, I will most definitely take Scranton. Celebrities do not impress me in the least, a number of warm year round cities suck (Miami, Phoenix, LA, Orlando) and spicy cuisine is not that important to me. Proximety to NYC and Philly and Rochester where my family is is a huge plus too.

I use to date a girl who came from there and called it "Shcranton". She was cute, but weird.

So...

...if Hell is beating Scranton, and if Scranton beat Omaha, does this mean that Omaha is the Seventh Layer of Hell?! LOL! Just kidding!
