Weather: Vancouver
Food: Tie, Hard to beat world class asian and seafood though!
Nature: Vancouuver easily
People: Vancouver
Nightlife: Miami
Walkibity/Public: Dont know much about Miami's transit system so Vancouver wins that one
Diversity: Miami
Culture: Miami by far
Weather: Vancouver
Food: Miami - gotta love that Hispanic and West Indian food! I love Asian food, just not as much....now I'm hungry.
Nature: Vancouver
People: Idk - Miami is either nice, rude, or fake. Not sure if Vancouver is known for colder people like Seattle, and whether or not that's true.
Nightlife: Miami (Beach)
Walkability/Public Transit: Vancouver (TriRail? More like TriFail.)
Diversity: Miami
Culture: Miami
For me:
Weather- Miami
People- Vancouver
Public Transit/walkability- Vancouver
Nature- Vancouver, but only just. The Everglades are beautiful.
Nightlife: Miami
Culture: Miami
Diversity: Miami
Food: Tie, because both have great seafood, and it really depends on the day. I love both Cuban food and Chinese food, and both places have other good cuisines to offer.
Guess I pick Miami because of the beaches and weather top it off for me, so I would rather live there, but I would rather visit Vancouver.

I'm going with Vancouver. It's cleaner, has better architecture, a better downtown, better parks and green space, much better natural beauty, and better neighborhoods.
Having lived in both:
Weather: Miami (the rain in Vancouver can be quite depressing)
Food: Tie (both have great restaurants)
Nature: Vancouver (the mountains)
People: Miami (they're tend to be more attractive)
Nightlife: Miami
Walkability/Public Transit: Vancouver

Culture: Vancouver
My ideal place would be Vancouver with Miami's weather.
I know Vancouver relatively well, better than any other Canadian city by far and better than even a few places I have lived in. I've done camp in Vancouver four summers in a row way back and beyond that I don't want to publicly get into it but have spent a very fair amount of time there for other reasons. I really love Vancouver, to me it's like the Seattle gone right, not that Seattle is a bad place or anything. Vancouver has spectacular scenery, the best in the continental United States and Canada and it's ALL immediate to the city. Stanley Park is an exceptional escape and I am a huge fan of the "high rise" city thing going on. It's structurally incredibly dense and Vancouver has the best Chinese, Thai, and Japanese food ever. Possibly Korean too.
Overall, I'm going with Miami but there are only very very few places in the world I would take over Vancouver. Unfortunately it was paired up against one of them.
Before i visited Miami i would have said Miami hands down but knowing Miami a little bit now (not that nice of a place for those who are not very rich) i would have to go with Vancouver.
Mountains, forest, quality weed, better transit, a lot more Asians, less crime plus i never been there before
