Bethesda/Chevy Chase, Maryland and Arlington/Alexandria Virginia do blend in quite well into Washington DC except they have more high rises and look more modern.
Paradise, Nevada and Las Vegas - Paradise is actually where the Strip is mostly located!!!! A lot of people don't know this.
I think most of South Florida blends into each other like Miami and Fort Lauderdale then Palm Beach. Same with the Los Angeles area.
Most of St. Louis's inner-ring suburbs blend seamlessly with the character of the city: Maplewood, Richmond Heights, Clayton, University City chief among them.
I would agree that University City and Clayton Missouri blends well with St.Louis city.
Oak Park is Chicago to me. Lol. I'm sure the same can be said about most cities and their inner suburbs.
