If you want a friend, get a dog.

Wow, you HAVE traveled a lot! So you also didn't find San Fran very friendly? I've heard it's supposed to be from people, but every time I've been there I've found the vibe a little...snooty?

Is this from least friendly to most friendly, or most to least?

I know Boston is not considered that friendly so, but I would think Minneapolis might be the most friendly.

From most friendly to least:
Minneapolis
Denver
Chicago
Seattle
Salt Lake City
Honolulu
Portland
Boston
San Diego
New York
San Francisco
Phoenix
Los Angeles

Lived in SLC, Honolulu, and LA areas. Spent a lot of time in Seattle, Denver, and Chicago. The rest I've only visited for a short amount of time, so they are just impressions.

Quite frankly, there's good and bad people everywhere. I don't use a few good or bad people to judge an entire area.

It's the overall social/cultural ways that annoy me more, especially if they don't make any sense.
