Which climate is better for you? Do you like extreme humidity (Miami), moderate humidity, like me (Honolulu) or barely any (San Diego)? Extreme heat (Miami), warmth, like me (Honolulu), or mostly mildly warm weather (San Diego)?

Honolulu. You have those beautiful trade winds; the weather is very mild. San Diego is too dry while Miami can get very cold

Though Honolulu is not as humid as many think. Not even as humid as the east coast or midwest is in summer, but I understand your opinions. Our summer/fall weather is pretty hard to beat with sunshine, 75-80F during the day, a gentle breeze, and 55-66F at night.

San Diego gets colder than Miami.

I think that poster is referring to the occasional bouts of very cold temps that reach Miami. San Diego doesn't get those, but it does stay cooler just about year-round.

San Diego has colder average temperatures than Miami during the coldest months of the year,48-51 degrees, while Miami is at 61-64.I know the reason for that is that in January for example Miami can hit 80 degrees while San Diego has zero chance to hit 80.At the same time Miami 3-4 times a year during those cold months can drop into the 30's while San Diego's temperatures stays more consistent maybe not dropping that low too frequently. With that said I consider San Diego a colder city than Miami, obviously in the summer but given how infrequently Miami gets that low in the winters and the lows in San Diego are more consistent and not all that much higher than those rare really cold Miami lows,it's obvious San Diego has more pleasant weather than this sauna called Miami,OK maybe not a year round sauna but at least close to 8 months of the year.

No one has selected Miami. I can say I didn't either. I live in the Atlanta area, and the summer humidity is disturbing. I imagine the same would be so for Miami. I've been to Los Angeles, it was a dry heat. I imagine San Diego is the same. I'll take San Diego first, Honolulu second, and I'm not picking Miami.
