Both cities claim the title.

Which one edges the other out for the title & why?

They both do different things well. LV though to me is too small and casino centric. It lacks in more diverse entertainment offerings and maybe is too polished for th tourist in general. I will go with LA. But this dog fight is really between LA and NYC not LA and LV

Tough to say, but I said Las Vegas since I experienced it first hand.

Not comparable...L.A. exports its entertainment industry to the world, while people travel to Vegas to be entertained in person.

Los Angeles lol...it's much nicer and much larger....not many people actually desire to even live in Las Vegas. Hollywood is probably the most known entertainment district in the world as that's where many blockbuster films were filmed and produced at.

L.A
Vegas is entertainment for tourist who go there, the city doesn't entertain the world
And NYC isn't even close to L.A and I don't understand why some people would think NYC is first.
