Of the three I am looking for the one that has:

1) The best economy
2) The best public transportation
3) The least amount of "urban sprawl"
4) The best social life for the 30-40 year-old population
5) The most "blue-collar", working-class mentality

Thanks

Arguably, and statistically, I would suggest that Columbus is your best bet of the 3 options that you've suggested.
Columbus is NOT a largely blue collar city though, if that truly matters a great deal to you?
It definitely has the BEST ECONOMY of the 3 cities mentioned ...
The nightlife is vibrant in various "districts" near downtown ( Short North, Arena District & Brewery District )
It's a great city to make your home! Hope this helps

Columbus has been rated again in the top 10 cities in America, for jobs and relocation.

Thanks for the response. No, a large "blue-collar" community isn't that important to me but, I am definately not of the "white-collar" mentality.

Toxic Toast - If you say Columbus having the best economy is debatable, which would you suggest?

I would not make one. There are so many factors that go into a city's economy as it relates to an individual, declaring one of these cities is better than any other is silly.

Indianapolis is the best of the three so many suburbs surrounding to move into plus suberbs are added in population count. And duhh Indianapolis definately has the best blue collar people.

Only the Marion County suburbs are counted. There are still a lot of people outside of Marion County that live in the suburbs (Carmel, Fishers, Zionsville, Greenwood, Avon, etc....).
