Out of this list, What cities have the best interactive downtown. I talking about walking areas with restaurants, movies, theater, etc.

From these options, I would say DC. I was there recently visiting my Sister-in-Law who's currently attending Gallaudet

DC then far after that SD. All of the other downtowns are pretty sterile outside of the daily 9-5.

If you can live with a smaller city, Knoxville TN has this. I'd say it beats out Atlanta and some of the other cities. Of course the other cities have "walkable" neighborhoods outside the downtown CBD.

People are still stuck in the 1990s Miami view. Downtown which includes Brickell is a popular night spot these days. It's an ever changing area that on a Friday and Saturday night gets plenty busy. I agree that some might say DC over and SD over Miami. Especially given that Miami's more popular tourist and night area is over in Miami Beach. While downtown D.C. Can be busy on nights it's options when I lived there 4 years ago were not great. Georgetown, Adams Morgan and DuPont where more popular night areas.
