They couldn't possibly list every major city. Plus when you think of white Christmas, Phoenix might be the last place you'd think; its not only warm, but very dry as well.

No surprise for us. We have been here (near Seattle) 22 years, one Christmas morning it snowed about 10 minutes but didn't stick, then the sun cam out. We have had a blizzard the week after. but never had a white Christmas in all this time.

Light dusting predicted Wednesday afternoon with temperatures in the high 30s, so it's very unlikely to stick. Unless the area near the Lake gets dumped with Lake Effect snow, it will be a non-white Christmas here.

It was about 50 degrees in Chicago today, so definitely no.

We still haven't gotten any snow in the city yet this year. A few times it fell and dusted the grass/sidewalk, but nothing that sticks.

Just heard on NPR they got snow in Hawaii today. In the mountains of course, but pretty cool on Christmas.
