Is that a Swede hoisting the cup? Not quite sure what that has to do with Michigan Hockey.
A Canadian, actually (Kris Draper), who still lives and works in Mchigan post retirement serving his team and his CHOSEN community, as many ex Wings do.
You really dont think places in Mass, NY or MN wouldnt match or surpass the attendance record if their stadiums allowed 100,000+?
Buffalo has the record for an NHL game from the 08 Winter Classic at Ralph Wilson Stadium (71,217). You can be sure if the capacity was larger theyd have the record.
Yeah, and if I were 6'11 I'd be starting at center for the Knicks tonight. We have an "IF" man amongst us!

Thought it was Franzen at first. Still don't see how a Canadian has anything to do with a Michigan Hockey either. And who cares if he still lives in Michigan. Wes Walz still lives in MN and helps with the community. That has nothing to do with MN Hockey.
I'm only about 95 percent sure that Quebec and Alberta arent even in the United States.... lol
Really, you don't say? Because it's not as if I was making a joke or anything...
Just saying it's funny to hear people arguing about who's got more of a hockey culture or players between Minnesota or Michigan when a Canadian province like Saskatchewan usually produces over two times more NHL players than either despite having a population about the same size as Rhode Island.
And for the record, Minnesota probably wins in terms of the most devotion to hockey at all levels in the US--though at the same time, it in itself is a step behind pretty much anywhere in Canada outside the Atlantic provinces.
