However, Pittsburgh has made an awesome comeback for a rust belt city. I was impressed with KC when I visited, it was more vibrant than I expected. I think both KC and Pittsburgh have a lot to offer, it really comes down to preference and what might work better for you.
Kansas City has an atrocious climate as well if you don't mind months of stiflying heat and humidity, windy cold dry winters that completely dry out your skin, and extremes of droughts and excessive rainfall. Kansas City does get more sunny days than Pittsburgh, but also attracts alot more of the fake plastic people from the Sunbelt who relocate there than the eastern portion of the Midwest and interior Northeast.

SO the tax on my house was $8.00 for which they printed a blank bill, printed the tax I owe on that bill, mailed it to me, then mailed a second notice since some genius judge was convinced by the school board (another black hole) into arbitrarily raising home values at least 35% in a declining market which caused everybody to appeal their assessment netting the schools a big time loss of revenue. Anyway back on track...so the sent me 2 notices then I paid the $8.00 which someone had to open and record the payment then send the payment to the Library.

Now tell me, after all that, how much of the $8.00 was left for the library? Any questions as to why the inexhaustible foundation went broke?

Welcome to Pittsburgh...
Lol and dont let the door hit ya when you leave troll.

Well golly gee; look at the most recent population estimate! Yes, there is a source accompanying the chart, so don't even pretend that the information isn't credible.

You didn't just start an argument about which city has better cultural assets, did you? Please tell me you didn't, because Pittsburgh mops the floor with Kansas City in that regard. You don't see the names Carnegie, Frick, Mellon, Heinz and Westinghouse all over Pittsburgh for nothing.

Yeah, I'm sick and tired of losers who leave but then ***** about where they left rather than enjoying where they are now.

The last statistic I read was Pittsburgh has 45 days of blue sky sunshine, Colorado has 300 days of blue sky sunshine; which would you prefer?

Yea everybody can find some bullshlt that proves their perverted perspective but even my drug dealer neighbor hated living in Pittsburgh because Government sucks big time.

Then of course your source is Wikipedia which is a information source compiled by ANYBODY WHO CAN TYPE including government officials putting out what they want people to think.

Give me a break; that's no information source, it's largely propaganda.

You just named something that I would consider more of a nuisance. People in sun belt states can be such a simpleton sometimes. As if everyone has the same taste in weather as you where they like the hot burning sun. Anyways if sunshine was an important criteria for me there are plenty of better places than freaking Colorado lol.

Both Kansas City and Pittsburgh are very cold in the winter and humid in the summer. Unless you're out west, you can't escape humid summers in the US. I'm not saying Pittsburgh's climate is unbearable for everyone, I want to warn that the interior is practically just as cloudy as the PNW because many people don't realize that. A lot of people can be affected by the lack of sunshine, and it becomes a medical issue when you have SADD or eczema (bright light therapy just doesn't have the same affect as natural sunlight).

KC suburbs have fake plastic people, but they're no worse than the fake and plastic people of NYC, California, Miami, DC, Atlanta, Scottsdale, Dallas, etc. In the end, you'll find people you like and dislike everywhere.

I would never consider Pittsburgh and KC in the same regard for summers with humidity and temperatures. Pittsburgh hasn't hit 100 F since the 90's while Kansas City does it several times a year and most summers, Pittsburgh is lucky to hit 95 once. While Pittsburgh is humid, it's not on the level either of Kansas City. Pittsburgh is more wintry however, but I like it so that's a benefit of Pittsburgh to me.

I don't want 300 days of sunshine and to have to put on sunscreen every time I walk out of the house. I love how every ignorant fool who lives in the Sunbelt thinks their weather is the only thing they need to be better than any other part of the country and since they have "sunshine" everywhere else that doesn't sucks . At least Pittsburgh didn't get snowstorms this year all through April and the start of May. How did you enjoy those?
