That was an estimate. Like, when ppl guess the number of gumballs in a gum dispenser. Officially Philly is still larger. Again, that was an estimate.

Again, the same thing was said before the 2010 census, and it turned out not to be true, and Philadelphia was still larger. Whatever you see is just an estimate, and should be taken with a grain of salt until the 2020 Census counts.

Also, no matter what, Philadelphia is still larger. Philadelphia is 134 sq miles, Phoenix is over 600

The most recent year I saw was 2011. But it doesn't really matter because Phoenix is a monster that eats everything in it's path and, as far as I know, can still grab land. If so it's population will eventually surpass Philadelphia. I've spent much time in Phoenix and although I like certain things about it, it's really not in Philadelphia's league.

600 sq miles? WTF Thats not even a city might as well be one large suburb in the desert, unless they decide to Dubai it.

The only thing DC has is government. Otherwise DC isn't even 1% as good as Philly. This thread is ridiculous.

Both cities are more or less equal and even the poll shows it. It comes down to what people prefer though. I can see why someone would like Philly more than DC and vice versa. I know a lot of people from the south that are more comfortable with DC than Philly however I can see someone from New England or NY/NJ picking Philly over DC easily. Its a toss up between people from the midwest and the West Coast.
